Greetings from New Sewickley, Pennsylvania. The countdown clock reads: 110 days, 21 hours, and 35 minutes. When the clock reads zero, United Airlines Flight 3777 will take off from Hartsfield Jackson Atlanta International Airport.
18 hours and 22 minutes later our trans-Atlantic journey will terminate at Tambo Field, Johannesburg, South Africa. We will gather our 21 pieces of luggage, (14 checked, 7 carry on), and enter into our southern hemisphere ministry. We are busy preparing for that departure, and are ready to go!
4 of our boys are learning to crochet and we have included a few pictures of that. While this may not seem like a normal thing for a 13, 7, 5, and 4 year old to do, it helps us in 2 ways. It gives them something to do with their hands on our long trips in the car, but more importantly, it gives them a skill to teach to orphans and others once we get to the country.
-For the equivalent of 10 churches, individuals or businesses to support us at $100.00 per month.
-That we will raise our final $1,000 in monthly support before we fly on August 26th. We are ~85% supported as of today.
-That we will raise our final $8,000, (down from $10,000 a few weeks back!) in one time moving expenses.
-That the arrival and loading of our container will happen without complications.
-That our VISA’s will come through with no problem.
-For continued safety, grace, and God’s blessing on our ministry.
-For the missionaries in South Africa who are currently looking at housing for us.
